If you would like an overview of our school, then the information in the draft copy of our new-style School Prospectus may be useful to you.
For information about a specific year group, go to the Our Classes section of the website. From there you can also view the current termly Parent Information Sheets for each year group. This sheet gives a brief summary of the topics each class will cover during the course of the term, as well as ideas of how you can support your child in each subject.
The School Handbook was updated last year and contains information on the day-to-day running of the school, e.g. school organisation, the curriculum, rules and policies.
The school has a wide range of policies covering all aspects of school life. All policies are available on request from the school office, however the ones we think you will find most useful and relevant are in the Policies section of the website.
The Useful Websites for Further Information page contains links to other websites containing information and resources to support parents.
Absence through illness
If your child is ill on a school day, please contact the school on the first day of absence so we can update our records and inform the relevant members of staff.
If a pupil is absent and we have not been informed, we will attempt to contact parents. This is an essential procedure to ensure a child’s safety but, as you will appreciate, can be a waste of school time and resources, so please do take the time to contact school.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your child has been off school with vomitting and/or diarrhoea, then the current advice is that children should not return to school before 24 hours has passed since the last incident of illness.
Pupil Premium
