Reading Ambassadors and Librarians
Reading for Pleasure
At Cloverlea Primary School we want children to read for pleasure. Please see the link below with ideas of how you can support your child with this at home.

Reading Ambassadors
In our quest to further develop reading for pleasure and to create a school that embraces reading we asked our Year 6 children to apply to become ambassadors for the school. After an overwhelming number of applications from the children, Mr McConnell and Mrs. Brogan made the difficult decision to choose the following children.
Our reading ambassadors plan activities for the whole school throughout the year. They have begun with our first order of the year after a successful book fair in July. The girls have helped to upload all the new books into our library system.
Meet Our Ambassadors
PTA
Our generous PTA presented the ambassadors with a cheque to help further develop our library. The girls are now tasked with talking to the children in school to find out what exciting new books to purchased.
Curriculum Evening
The Reading Ambassadors showed high levels of maturity during our curriculum evening, where they spoke to parents about the work they have been doing in school.
The children worked closely with the Values Ambassadors and together they made a wonderful team which made the Curriculum Evening a great success!
Librarians
Our school librarians support Mrs Brogan and Mrs Perkin with the daily running of our library. This includes; ensuring books are returned on our library system - LibreSoft, returning books to the shelves for borrowing, keeping our library tidy and inviting and helping to recommend books for others to enjoy.
