Nursery Admissions

Application forms for admission to the school nursery is attached below or available from the school office. The Nursery Admission Policy which sets out the criteria for admission is formulated by the school governing body and is reviewed and updated annually. 

New Nursery Place Flexibility 

The school has decided to continue to offer a much greater degree of flexibility in our offer of nursery places, in order to give a greater choice of options to parents. Parents will be able to choose from the following options:

Full time place: 5 full days a week.

Part-time full day places: either 3 or 4 full days each week

Part-time morning or afternoon places.

The first wave of offers for places in the nursery will be sent out to parents each February for entry the following September, so request that applications for the new academic year be returned to school by the January prior. Further spaces can be offered all throughout the year, depending on current Nursery numbers. Nursery can have a maximum of 26 children.

Admission into the Main School

Trafford Local Educational Authority is the Admission Authority for the main school, both for the annual intake of children into the Reception class and any in-year requests for places throughout the school.

For admission to the new Reception class each September, parents need to complete a Common Application Form through their Local Authority, outlining their choices of primary school in priority order. The Local Authority (Trafford, if you are Trafford resident) will then process the application and each child will be offered a single primary school place in the April prior to the pupil taking up the place the following September.
